Review: Njoy Pure Plug 2.0
The Njoy Pure Plug 2.0 is Njoy’s sequel to the original Pure Plug line. From what I’ve heard from other reviews, the original Pure Plugs run a bit small. At a 3.5″ insertable length and a 2″ diameter, the Pure Plug 2.0 is definitely an extra-large plug.
First Thoughts
At first look, two things came to mind.
- This is heavy
- This has an interesting shape
The first thing that anyone can notice is definitely the weight. Because it is made from stainless steel, it seems hard to believe that an object that can fit on the palm of my hand can be so heavy. According to the manufacturer, it weighs 1.3 pounds. The second thing is the shape. The Njoy Pure Plug is a unique shape that I have not seen before in other plug designs. It is great to see a new design that is far from the normal cone shape.
Aside from the unique shape of the insertable portion, the slim neck and ring-type makes it seem like a very comfortable plug.
The box that it came in is pretty nice and is a perfect storage container for the Pure Plug 2.0.

My Experience
Due to its interesting shape, the Pure Plug 2.0 is somewhat easy to insert compared to other 2″ diameter plugs. Every time I have tried the Pure Plug, I use just a couple of drops of silicone lubricant. Once it is inside, it takes a couple of minutes for the metal to warm up to my [tooltip text=”body temperature” gravity=”sw”]If you feel that your body is particularly sensitive to temperature, you should warm it up slightly by running it under warm water first.[/tooltip]. The size is perfect and sufficiently filling for me. It took a while for my body to get used to the weight at first. Because of its narrow neck, my sphincter tightened around it and I never had the fear of it falling out. The “point” of the plug rests on my prostate and I can feel it press on my prostate every time it bounces.
I walked around the house and the neighborhood for a while to get a feel for the plug inside of me. With every step, I could feel the plug “bounce” in me because of the weight. At a later time during a 3rd or 4th session, I went for a jog with the plug inside me and at no point did I have the fear of it falling out. The head of the plug definitely has a good size to it that allows easy entry and prevents it from falling out. The ring-style handle is very comfortable when standing up or walking around; however, there are times when it is uncomfortable when I am sitting down. It appears that my buttocks “envelopes” the handle and causes the handle to dig into me at times. Because of this, I often have to reposition myself so that the handle does not hurt me.
The heavy weight causes it to sink in the pillow.
Long Term Use
The shape of the Njoy pure plug makes it perfect for long term use. The longest I have used this plug for is about 15 hours. It was comfortable for me the entire time except for the one or two exceptions where I was sitting down and the handle was digging into me the wrong way. Throughout the whole time I was wearing it, a constant pressure was being put on my prostate. It is only when I walk that there is more stimulation to it and I feel it more.
Care and Storage
Since the Njoy Pure Plug is made from stainless steel, any type of lubricant can be used. For long term use, I recommend using silicone or an oil-based lubricant such as coconut oil. This way, the lubricant isn’t absorbed by your body. If you do happen to use water-based lubricant, you will probably have to re-apply the lubricant every couple of hours so that the plug does not hurt you.
Some ways to clean this toy is:
- Warm water and a good anti-bacterial soap
- Top rack of the dishwasher (with sanitizer)
- Rubbing alcohol
To store it, you can keep the plug in the box that it came in, or in a soft bag. Wherever you keep it, make sure to be careful not to scratch it. It appears that it is easy to scratch if you aren’t careful with it.

The premium Njoy Pure Plug 2.0 is a comfortable plug that is worth its price. Although a relatively high price point (MSRP $120 USD) for some, it is definitely worth the investment. This is my favorite plug and I use it almost every day. My favorite part is that it is extremely comfortable and it massages my prostate in the right ways. I feel that this plug works best for those who like to wear a butt plug for long term use or for those who want their prostate stimulated.

1.3 pounds!!! Wow! I would imagine that this would cause a “weighing down” feeling (not necessarily in a bad way) that serves as a constant reminder that it’s in you. Probably not one of those plugs that you stick in and then forget it’s there! Very interesting! Perhaps I should try one of the smaller Njoy plugs before jumping straight to this one though hehehe.
It’s really great! The weighing down feeling is a surprise at first, but it’s amazing.
