Review: L’amourose Rosa

Where do I even start? This is the prostate massager I’ve always wanted, but never really knew that it existed. I’ve always wanted a super strong vibrator [for prostate use], but I never knew that it existed somewhere. The L’amourose Rosa is that prostate massager. It is now my go-to prostate massager—I don’t see myself using any other prostate massager at the moment.
The L’amourose Rosa was given to me free of charge from L’amourose for review. My review and opinion are completely honest. Thank you L’amourose!

First Impressions
The L’amourose Rosa [and the brand itself] is a luxury toy. The packaging is amazingly minimalistic and gorgeous. The charger
and its base are simple; no flashing lights or gimmicky bright LEDs. Opening the Rosa itself, everything is well-packaged and organized.
The Rosa is straight-forward. It has three buttons only and that’s it. Nothing else too complicated to this device. The shape looks comfortable to use, there’s a “bulb” that can rest against the prostate (or G-spot), and the middle of the device is slim so that it can flex to fit.
The base of the Rosa is where it is charged. There are two gold-colored contacts that touch the base for a charge. It has a multi-faceted design made to look like a gem of sorts. It matches well with the charger base which has a similar design. The reason as to why the base and contacts exist is because the Rosa is waterproof. The contacts instead of using a jack-style plug is to keep everything inside watertight.
Honestly, the Rosa is the type of toy that I can leave out on my desk as a decoration. It’s just so pretty to look at. Personally, I love minimalism–the Rosa’s design is the embodiment of minimalism.
This prostate massager has two motors inside. That’s great because you can feel more vibrations in the area that you need it most. There is one vibrator motor in the tip of the device (which my prostate appreciates) and one in the base of the device. Like almost any other vibrator on the market, the Rosa has multiple modes to scroll through. Personally I don’t care too much for them. For me, personally I feel that multiple modes affects my enjoyment of massagers negatively. Of course, everyone is different and your mileage may vary.
There is one light in the Rosa. This light is dim. It’s invisible if using the Rosa with a lot of light and barely visible at night. When I first put it to charge, I couldn’t tell if it was really charging since I couldn’t tell if the light was on at all.
My Experience
The L’amourose Rosa is perfect for finding my prostate. This thing was designed to just insert and play. It’s the perfect length to reach my prostate without the need to push it further in or to hold it with my hand. If I’m sitting down with the Rosa inside of me, I don’t need to touch the massager at all. In my experience, the best way to get prostate stimulation is to leave the massager on for a long period of time without moving it at all.
There are two types of orgasms that one can get with the Rosa. The first would be a normal orgasm–using penile stimulation. This orgasm is intensified with the use of a prostate massager greatly. Sadly, solo play is the only way to go in this case. I found that it stays put really well sitting down, but this is not the case if I’m standing up at all.
The second type of orgasm that one can get and I’ve gotten close to achieving is a [hands-free] prostate orgasm. For me, this can take up to an hour to achieve depending on my mood. So far, I have only gotten super close to one with the Rosa. This isn’t the fault of the massager; I took a bath with it for about an hour to relax, but I ran out of time before achieving a prostate orgasm.
Overall, I was greatly impressed with the Rosa. Before I used other prostate massagers that won’t be named here, but this is now my go-to massager that I will use every time I want some hands-free prostate play. My only real complaint is the fact that the buttons are hard to manipulate precisely during use. The buttons aren’t recessed and don’t stick out–if I want to change speeds during use, I have to play the guessing game and hope that I push the right button.
Care and Storage
The insertable portion of the L’amourose Rosa is silicone. As with any other silicone toy, silicone lubricant is not to be used with the toy. Instead use only water-based lubricant or oil-based lubricant.
To clean up after each use, use hot water and soap for a quick clean. Note that this won’t really disinfect or kill any bacteria that may or may not be there from anal use. For a complete sterilization, use a 10% bleach solution and wipe it down completely then rinse off with cold water completely. Boiling water is not recommended in this case due to the electronics inside and because the base is made from ABS plastic.
Conclusion (tl;dr)
Pros
+
- Firm prostate contact
- Excellent length for constant contact
- Flexible shaft allows for maximum comfort
- Waterproof
- Method of recharging is convenient and easy
+
Cons
–
- Difficult to manipulate controls during use
+
This is now literally my favorite prostate toy. The strength is amazing. I love the fact that I can leave it inside me and let it do its job without any adjustments or outside interaction. Something that I’ve done a couple of times is relax in a bath with the Rosa inside of me. The fact that its waterproof means that I don’t have to worry about using it in the bath.
